Good luck is never the whole story.

Sevens appear across the canvas both inside and outside the diamond — the familiar shorthand of gambling luck, repeated until symbol becomes structure. The work is blunt: a diamond, a lucky number, an iconic card suit pushed straight in your face.

But the surface texture argues with the promise. It is layered, scraped, sanded, marked, and rebuilt. Luck may give you the card, but it does not play the hand.

Good luck gets you the moment.
